Baking powder

Ingredients

By weight:

  • 5 parts (e.g. 40 g) cream of tartar
  • 4 parts (e.g. 32 g) baking soda
  • 2 parts (e.g. 16 g) cornstarch

(Adapted from Smitten Kitchen, which doesn’t use weights.)

Procedure

  1. Mix everything in a glass jar with an airtight lid
  2. Close the lid
  3. Shake it well
  4. Store at room temperature
