Fear not, I’m not thinking of starting a podcast—I have enough side projects as it is. But last weekend’s endeavor was to try to repurpose a couple of old Sony mics that I used with various MiniDisc (❤️) recorders back in the day and try to connect them to the iPad and the Mac via an audio interface. At the end of the day, which included a 16 km (round trip) bike ride to buy a 3.5 mm-to-1/4 in headphone adaptor, it turned out those mics were useless or unusable, and I decided to go for a USB mic instead.
I’m still learning my way around it, but that’s part of the fun.
